Prepare for BC’s time zone change
British Columbia's new time zone takes effect on Nov. 1, 2026, and IT Services is preparing TRU-managed computers for this change.
Action required: All Windows and Mac users should complete the steps outlined in our BC Time Zone Change Instructions. Check for updates and restart daily.
Experiencing issues after Nov. 1? If your computer is not displaying the correct time zone or time, please ensure you have completed all required updates and restarted your device. If the issue continues after Nov. 1, submit a BC Time Zone Support Request.
